Floodbusters Inc: Company's History in Maryland

Floodbusters Inc. was orginially licenced back in 1988. Our name has been a fixture in Maryland's, DC's and Northern Virginia's Home Improvement Industry since then.

1984:Rick, the owner and original Floodbuster, developed his skills and passion for the basement waterproofing insdustry and trade as a worker digging and doing the repairs.

1988: Rick seperated from his training company and strikes out on his own to Create Floodbusters Inc. At this point he was licenced by the Maryland Home Improvement Councel and registered his business with the state.

1992: After a few years he struck a deal with a national distribution company and network. The next few years he would become one of that network's top dealers in the United States. Well over a thousand homes in Maryland benefited from his work and service. Floodbusters became incorporated. Floodbusters also completed the Authorization and Certification criteria to install Griptie foundation repair products including wall anchors.

1998: Top 10 Tourch Award from the Better Business Beureau (www.bbb.org)

2007: Rick removed himself from that contractor network. Tthe National Contractor Network bought control of Floodbusters' website. This confused many loyal customers.

2008: Floodbusters found the new technology of Grate Products LLC. With their new products, new site, and newly focused direction, they are reclaiming their name and rebuilding their image one customer at a time.

Floodbusters was unable to right any wrongs that might have happened during the transition period after leaving it's previous contractor network. Floodbusters wants to do right by our previously loyal customers! Please contact us!
